2020 National Service-Learning Conference Showcase Application

2020 National Service-Learning Conference Showcase Application

April 16-18, 2019, New Orleans, LA

Celebrating 31 years of service-learning leadership, the National Service-Learning Conference highlights and promotes service-learning as a way of teaching and learning that builds academic and citizenship skills while renewing communities. It is the only major national conference that provides service-learning professional development to a diverse audience of K-H educators, administrators, pre-service teacher education staff and faculty, researchers, youth leaders, partners, parents, program coordinators, national service members, community-based organization staff, policy-makers, and corporate and foundation officers.

Showcase Application

Do you have a high-quality project you would like to highlight at the conference? Not ready for a full 90-minute workshop session but have a powerful message to deliver? Then consider being part of the showcase. The Showcase highlights high-quality projects from across the country, and is an opportunity to connect with people and share how a project was implemented, how it was connected to curricular goals, and what made it effective.

The Showcase will be held at Harry Hurst Middle School throughout the hallways. Setup will begin at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2019. We ask that you have your display set up by 11:30 a.m. When you arrive at the showcase, please look for your showcase title on a table. A volunteer will also be onsite to answer any questions and direct you to your table.
