Assessing Service-Learning Through Classroom Action Research

Two action research vignettes highlight the impact of service-learning on building resilience and academic success in high school students. Specific examples from a cross-age teaching project demonstrate the effectiveness of service-learning within an alternative high school over a two-year time period.
