Special team rate

Youth and adults are encouraged to apply in teams. NYLC strives to gather participants from diverse cultural, geographic, and socioeconomic backgrounds to enrich the conversations and programming that take place throughout the week.

$2,200 per team of 3 (2 youth and 1 adult). For larger teams, add $950 for each youth and $300 for each adult.

Price includes:

  • Three-day training for one mentor
  • Eight-day training for two high school-aged youth
  • Meals and lodging for youth and mentors
  • Limited transportation to camp facility

Limited partial scholarships will be available, Scholarship Application will be available for download January, 2013.

Individual pricing

While NYLC strongly recommends youth attend in teams of at least two participants and an adult mentor for the strengthened effectiveness in implementing the action plan once returning to home communities, youth are still able to attend as individuals.  We strongly encourage to still come with a mentor.

$350 per mentor
