NYLC CEO Kielsmeier to Receive National Award

James C. Kielsmeier, NYLC Founder, President, and CEO, will receive the Voices for National Service Special Recognition Award for Partnership from Voices for National Service. The award, to be given Feb. 9, at the annual Friends of National Service Reception in Washington, D.C., recognizes Jim’s unparalleled leadership in the national service and service-learning movements, his vision and collaboration, helping expand opportunities for young Americans to serve and volunteer.

Voices for National Service is a coalition of national service programs, state commissions, and individual champions committed to expanding opportunities for Americans of all ages to serve and volunteer. Founded in 2003, the coalition is the respected voice for the service community in Washington D.C.

This event is co-hosted by Voices for National Service and The Corps Network and presented by the Comcast Corporation, National Grid, and the Academy for Educational Development.
