NYLCs 25th Anniversary & Annual Giving Campaign
The National Youth Leadership Council’s efforts to promote service-learning has impacted thousands of students and adults throughout the world. Since 1983, NYLC has led the service-learning movement that engages students in meaningful service to their communities.
We are celebrating our 25th anniversary with a reception on Wednesday December 10th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Klas Center at Hamline University. The reception will include a short program including remarks from longtime NYLC supporter former U.S. Senator Dave Durenberger and a presentation of the 2008 Founders Awards, which recognizes organizations and individuals whose commitment to the mission of NYLC has brought a life-changing experience of service-learning to young people, their schools, and their communities.
