Get Project Ignition Proposal Help

With only eight weeks left to complete Project Ignition grant applications due November 15, NYLC is offering two webinars designed to strengthen proposals:
Thurs., Sept. 23 at 9:00 a.m. (CST), and
Thurs., Sept. 23 at 3:00 p.m. (CST).

Project Ignition is a grant program sponsored by State Farm® and coordinated by NYLC which encourages public high schools students, their teachers, and community partners to engage in service-learning efforts that promote teen driver safety. In December, 25 high schools will be selected as national leaders and will receive $2,000 grants to support their work. The webinars will focus on the program’s core goals for teen driver safety, examples of such youth-led service-learning efforts, the research-base, and judging priorities.

Ongoing webinars, the “Going Deeper” series, will further explore research-based, youth-led efforts to promote teen driver safety in October. These sessions also are intended to help strengthen applications, and will help anyone interested in developing research-based, measureable, service-learning projects.
