State Farm® Chairman and CEO Receives National Promise of America Award
On May 13, 2004, State Farm Chairman and CEO Ed Rust, Jr., received one of this year's six National Promise of America Awards from Americas Promise The Alliance for Youth. The awards was presented at a White House dinner hosted by First Lady Laura Bush.
NYLC Names Jim Pitofsky New Deputy Director
NYLC announced today that Jim Pitofsky has joined the organization as its new Deputy Director. In this role, he is managing NYLCs strategic alliances, leading its public policy work, supporting its training and materials development, and will coordinate an international council of service-learning organizations.
Orlando Conference Fulfills the Promise of Democracy
