Accept the Learn and Serve Challenge

The Learn and Serve Challenge, a national initiative to increase student and school-based opportunities for service-learning which started in October, needs you to register your projects that begin in January. Be sure to submit your action plans — particularly those that address the target areas of community renewal, education, energy and the environment, health and nutrition, and safety and security — to help increase the visibility and prevalence of service-learning.

Recent webinars that introduce service-learning, the service-learning cycle, and self-assessment process, led by NYLC staff, are free online at www.learnandservechallenge.org, along with a host of other resources.
