National Urban Service-Learning Institute
This annual two-day event brings people from across the United States together to engage with some of the key challenges facing youth in urban settings and explore how service-learning can effectively help address them.
Community members, young people, service-learning leaders, teachers, nonprofit staff, government workers, and others gather each year in a different urban community to discuss service-learning practice and outreach, explore model projects, and learn about the latest research and trends in urban education.
The National Urban Service-Learning Institute includes keynote presentations from notable pioneers in urban service-learning and education reform, workshops on issues relevant to urban youth and educators, perspectives from funders, and an research symposium on practices and research on service-learning in urban contexts.
We invite you to join us at this remarkable opportunity to connect with other professionals working in urban settings and help shape this developing area of service-learning.
