Twin Cities Youth Council Collaborative Training

Saturday, October 13, 2012 (All day)

The Twin Cities Youth Council Collaborative Training event is a joint 'skill-building training' for youth council members offered in collaboration between NYLC, MN Alliance with Youth, ISD 622 Youth Leadership Council, Brooklyns' Youth Council, East Metro Integration District Youth Executive Board, HandsOn Twin Cities, and Higher Ground Academy's Student Council. This half-day training equips young people with the skills to be successful in their positions on youth leadership councils. A collaborative team of youth council advisors chose training topics we felt were important to the youth role.  Bring your students, and join us for an afternoon of fun and learning!

To prepare for session numbers, we’re  asking each youth council to register for session topics in advance.  Each council advisor should submit a list of participating youth members and each members’ top 5 session topic preferences.  Each topic will be offered at all 3 sessions.
