Digital Learning Day

On February 6, 2013, the Alliance for Excellent Education will the second annual Digital Learning Day, a nationally recognized event celebrating the creativity and innovation of America’s teachers, principals and administrators as they work everyday using technology to address the needs of each and every child entering their classrooms. In today’s information-based economy, our nation’s present viability and future success are gravely threatened by low college enrollment and completion rates—the best indicator for high workforce skills—for every locale in the country. In a global economy that increasingly demands student readiness for college course work and careers, America’s economic and social future is dependent upon providing the quality education and workforce preparation that readies all of its students to be true global participants.
