2010 National Youth Leadership Training Regional Gathering

As part of NYLC’s push to expand its Youth Leadership Training from an intensive summer experience to a year-long model, this year’s NYLT youth participants and adult mentors from high schools in Minnesota will reunite for a weekend to share progress on their service-learning projects from the summer. Students will also get a chance to visit each other’s schools across the different states and see Davis Guggenheim’s “Waiting for Superman” documentary to build upon their knowledge and awareness of the achievement gap in public schools across the nation.
