Join NYLC CEO Kelita Bak and Frederick Douglass Family Foundation in Washington, D.C. for a celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation and the signing of FDFF's New Proclamation of Freedom. January 11th is also National Human Trafficking Awareness Day and FDFF will be joined by special guests at the "100 Days to Freedom" partner school.

Project Ignition Grants Due
NYLC and State Farm® are pleased to announce the availability of $2,000 Project Ignition grants! Public high schools may apply for the grants to address teen driver safety through service-learning. Applications are due November 15, 2012.

National Youth Leadership Training Kick-Off Partnership Meeting
The National Youth Leadership Council and Presidio Trust’s National Center for Service and Innovative Leadership are partnering to pilot the National Youth Leadership Training in the summer of 2013.
