Uniting For Good: A Virtual Service-Learning GatheringÂ
Minneapolis, MN — February 12, 2026 — In communities across the country and around the world, service-learning continues to demonstrate its power as an approach that strengthens academic learning, builds civic responsibility, and equips young people to address real community needs. At a time when connection, belonging, and democratic engagement are more important than ever, service-learning offers a proven pathway for meaningful, youth-driven change.
On April 22, 2026, the National Youth Leadership Council will host Uniting for Good, a one-day virtual symposium that extends the reach and impact of The Annual National Service-Learning Conference®. Designed for educators, youth-serving professionals, community partners, and young people, this virtual experience ensures access to high-quality learning, collaboration, and connection for those unable to attend the in-person conference.
Participants will engage in interactive keynote conversations, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities designed specifically for virtual attendees. Sessions will explore timely topics such as youth voice, equity in service-learning, and community partnership building, while offering practical strategies, research-informed insights, and real-world examples that participants can implement immediately in classrooms, programs, and organizations.
Uniting for Good brings together a diverse national and global community committed to advancing service-learning as a strategy for educational excellence and social impact. By convening across time zones and roles, participants will deepen their understanding of how service-learning empowers young people not only to serve, but to lead with purpose, agency, and impact.
